| Welcome to the Milford Historical Society of Milford, New Hampshire! |
|
The Carey House
The Carey House is the home of the Milford Historical Society. We are located at 6 Union Street, across from the Community House and just outside of the oval.
We're
open to the public on the 2nd Saturday and Sunday, from April through December, 2pm
to 4pm. |
Our Mission
The Milford Historical Society is working to preserve artifacts from the
past for present and future generations to see and learn about. Learning about the old tools, appliances and means of transportation can
help our youth to understand the hard work and ingenuity of the people
who made our modern conveniences possible.
Coming generations
can develop an appreciation for, and be inspired to go on to, great
accomplishments by learning about the talents, strengths and courage of
past generations. Present residents of Milford can develop greater
civic pride by enjoying the programs and publications given by the
Historical Society.
